The first step in a rose garden is to choose the right variety. There are many varieties of roses, such as hybrid tea, floribunda, grandiflora, climbing roses, shrub roses and miniature roses. Each variety has its own characteristics unique and demanding growth. Hybrid Tea: Known for having large, single branches on long stems, perfect for harvesting. Floribunda: These produce clusters of flowers, which keep flowers falling. Grandifloras: A crossover tea and floribundas hybrid, combining the best characteristics of both. Climbing Roses: Ideal for trellises, arbors and dividers with vertical appeal. shrub roses: compact and low maintenance, ideal for landscaping.

Small Rose: Compact and perfect for holders or small gardens.

Construction of planting area Roses thrive in well-drained soil rich in natural resources. Here’s how to plan the planting

 Area

Location: Choose a location with at least 6 hours of daylight a day.Roses need plenty of water to avoid diseases. Soil Production: Test the soil pH, and aim for between 6.0 and 6.5. Amending the soil with compost, mature manure or other organic matter increases drainage and fertility. Planting Bed: Create a raised bed if the soil is too clay or poorly drained. This allows weeds and roots to grow.

The planting of a rose The right planting is essential to the success of your rose garden. Follow these steps: Timing

Spacing
Roses should be planted according to their growth habits.Cross breed teas and floribundas need about 2-3 feet between plants, and climbing roses need more space.
Tree spacing:
Dig a hole wide enough for the roots to get through.About 18 inches deep and 24 inches wide is usually adequate.
Plant
Space the roses, making sure the joint (the swollen area where the rose was attached to the stem) is about 2 inches below the soil surface in cooler areas or lower in the ground in warmer areas
Backfill
Fill the void with soil, gently press around the roots.Water well to settle the soil to avoid rustling bags. Decontamination and water supply Potting and watering are necessary for rose bushes to thrive.
Mulching
Apply two to three inches of mulch around the base of the plants to provide moisture, fix soil moisture and control weeds.Natural mulches such as bark chips, straw or compost work well.
